Refund policy

Return Window: We accept returns within 14 days of delivery.

Condition Requirements: Items must be unworn, unwashed, undamaged, and in original condition with all tags attached. Items that do not meet these conditions will not be eligible for a refund.

Non-Returnable Items: Final sale items, accessories, and intimates are not eligible for return. Any item marked as final sale at checkout cannot be returned or exchanged.

How to Start a Return: To begin a return or exchange, email us at [hello@shopnewmode.com] with your order number and reason for return. We'll provide instructions on how to proceed.

Return Shipping Responsibility: New Mode covers return shipping costs for defective or incorrect items only. For all other returns (e.g. change of mind, sizing issues), return shipping is the responsibility of the customer.

Refund Processing Time: Once your return is received and inspected, refunds are processed within 5–7 business days to your original payment method.

Refund Method: Refunds are issued to your original payment method. Store credit may be offered as an alternative upon request.

Damaged or Defective Items: If your item arrives damaged or defective, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at [hello@shopnewmode.com] with photos of the issue. We will cover return shipping and provide a replacement or full refund at no additional cost to you.

Exchanges: We offer exchanges only for defective or incorrect items, at no cost to you. For all other exchanges (size, color, style), please return your original item for a refund and place a new order.

Multi-Vendor Note: As a marketplace, items may ship from different independent vendors. Please check each product page for any vendor-specific return details, as some sustainable or made-to-order items may have limited availability for exchange.

Sustainability Note: Because we're committed to reducing waste, we encourage trying items on carefully before deciding to return. If a return isn't necessary, that's one less shipment impacting the planet — but if something isn't right, we're always here to help.

Late or Missing Refunds: If you haven't received your refund within the expected timeframe, please check with your bank or payment provider first, then contact us at [hello@shopnewmode.com].

International Returns: At this time, we only accept returns from orders shipped within the United States.
